Opening Doors Through Scholarship

Every scholarship application tells a story: a child with potential, a family making difficult sacrifices, and a dream that depends on access to education.

At the start of the 2026 academic year, Rise to Shine Education Foundation (RTSEF)

successfully enrolled 179 students in its scholarship program. For these learners, the scholarship provides more than school fees—it offers stability, dignity, and the opportunity to focus on learning without the fear of being sent home.

But the need is far greater.

Today, more than 3,000 vulnerable students remain on RTSEF’s waiting list, hoping for the same chance. Many face the risk of missed classes, declining academic performance, or dropping out altogether as families struggle to keep up with rising education costs.

Increasing school fees have placed additional pressure on scholarship resources, meaning fewer students can be reached despite growing demand.

Behind every number is a child whose future hangs in the balance.

A scholarship is more than financial support—it is an investment in potential. It keeps a child in school, strengthens their confidence, and opens doors to opportunities that can transform the course of their life.

For 179 students, that transformation has already begun. For thousands more, the opportunity is still out of reach.
